Well, I am not sure if someone close to you has passed away but if so,I am very sorry for your loss.
ACUTE CHRONIC SUBSTANCE ABUSE as a cause of death DOES NOT mean that they were a drug addict, this is most likely the case, but if the person had an illness such as some form of cancer, and they were using MORPHINE, PHARMACEUTICAL HEROINE,DILOTED,DILANTEN, DEMEROL, OR COOMADEN,
for a long period of time(over 1 yr) this can break down the Livers function and cause liver failier, pancreatic disfunction, and WILL lead to death. My husband passed away from Intestinal cancer 2 weeks ago, and the use of Narcotics during his illness contributed to his death.

That means that someone was a long time abuser of drugs and their body just couldn't take it anymore. Very sad. The human body can only withstand so much. I would assume the person had a very hard life for it to go that far.

it means that the person that died was off their nut on drugs before they died. probably more interesting way to go than being hit by a car.
