I have a similar kind of situation as you. I always end up being friends with a girl and then totally falling for her, when she doesn't end up feeling the same way. Its funny, because these same girls always tell me that i could have any girl i want, that i'm such a great guy, all sorts of stuff like that, but they never once consider being with me themselves. There are other girls i could be with, but for some reason the only ones i ever want are the ones that don't want me. I'm really going to try and make it obvious that i'm looking to date someone the next time i meet a girl, and hopefully avoid the same situation i've been dealing with for years. I suggest you try the same kind of thing. Good luck.

DUDE!
If she says, whoa, you like me? Theres so many better answers than "Oh just kidding". I mean, are you kidding that you tell them youre kidding?
Think of these as answers:
A) Of course i like you that way. Couldnt you tell?
B) well, i already like you as a friend. I want to risk taking it further to be with you.
C) You're a wonderful person AND beautiful. Of course i like you.
Thats not flirting, bro, thats being cool and honest. I dont have enough time to give the other 45 answers to that question!! Theyre not "pickup lines" either. If you mean it, tell her. But NEVER say just kidding, especially if THATS not the truth!
PS... Youll never be more than the 3rd wheel if you dont honestly tell her how you feel. If you say just kidding, youre passing up the opportunity SHE might take in saying, Well, thats great, because i like you too"......
YOU CAN DO EET !!

Well Sweety, Before you become their *best friend*...ask them if they would like to go out to a movie or to eat or go for a walk or something like that. That way they know you are actually interested in them. Being subtle is Grreat! But if you wait around too long before you let someone know you are intetested in them, then it's just too darn late. Don't let your time run out. Let the girl know up front what you want. Be honest. I LOVE honesty! If it's too hard for you to be honest and up front about your feelings, then get used to being the *best friend* for the rest of your life, hunny.

THere is no way to 'correctly' flirt, simple communication is the key. If you like someone, b4 u approach them, really look at them and find one or more things u like about them, try not to be overtly sexual, and them compliment them on it. This will open the lines of communication and start a conversation. Muster up the guts to tell them you like them and WHY u like them, ;honesty goes a really long way with females.

Someone's made you ashamed of your masculinity.
You work hard to take the "want" out of your eyes when you talk to them. You're trying to be "polite" but its washing away all the "Male" in your persona. Let the want show in your eyes but continue to speak just as you already do.
Its more honest.
