We have finally decided to come to the US. Will I need official papers to get welfare or as an illegal will they leave my kids and I to starve?

Immigrants often take advantage of public services, such as healthcare and welfare, costing the United States billions each year. Is this fair to American taxpayers--citizens and legal residents--who foot the bill? Would it be humane to deny medical and economic assistance to people in need?
Current Status
Illegal immigrants are ineligible for public assistance, but are able to get it under false pretenses sometimes. Legal immigrants are eligible for certain benefits, under certain circumstances, though a waiting period is often involved.

We will catch you and feed and house you and your family long enough to send you back to where you came from. We'll also pay for the trip.
If you go through the legal immigration process, we will try to determine if you actually want to make a contribution to our society and support you and your family long enough for you to get on your feet. No matter where you are coming from, your life will be better. This is a good deal considering that our ancestors either made it totally on their own or starved.
Actually, all things considered, you get a good deal no matter how you decide to come here.

If you expect welfare to sustain you and your family, you better think again, dude. Illegals are being denied welfare in many states. You come here, you better get a job and work like everybody else. We don't owe you a d@mn thing. You'll work or starve for all I care. If you care about your family, you won't subject them to that kind of hardship. If you expect a handout, that is not teaching them very good 'family values'. You are not a very responsible parent to bring them here ILLEGALLY.

Although illegal immigrants are ineligible for welfare, food stamps and other public service programs, they can obtain them by using false identification papers. It's a big business and not difficult to create an identity for this purpose. They are very adaptable and other illegals tell the newer ones how to work the system.
Who pays the bills for all theses services?.We do,the American citizen.

actually to rip the welfare benefits that you are entittled to after you enter the USA go to the nearst Federal office building ask the Federal protectice service Police at the door (GSA) as to what floor the US customs ICE are taking applications for welfare , medical including dental and free meal tickets for that day so you and children don't starve i think they give you temporary help if not very long term if they turn you down got o the court house and protest ps dum*****s STup>>>>> shi8

The best place to apply for food stamps, welfare and any other social service is a nice little organization called Homeland Security....they will handle everything nicely for you and your family...they might even take you and your family on a trip!
What a nice bunch of folks they are!

Stay home, no welfare for you here. My husband and I are working to support enough already.
We don't need any new people to bleed the system. It's in place for AMERICANS who fall on hard times, its not meant to be a financial planning tool.
