So I am reading the ban on abortion and some ignorant Christian Extremist states "They should take responsibility or not have sex"..now I respect her right to her opinion, but who the hell is she to tell someone how to live? What right does she have to tell someone else what to do or not to do? This is the problem with Christian's....they think they are in charge and have this right when they don't. Why do they force their false God and ideas on others?

I agree so much! christians shouldnt tell other people how to live thier life its called freedom. they are free to be as ignorant and hateful as they want to be but we non christians are free to be non christians, its when they cross that line that they are a threat to humanity.

Well if you go out and shoot someone and they die you will go to jail because you are responsible for your own actions. Having sex with someone is sort of like playing russian roulette, you don't know if you will get an STD or if you will get pregnant. All I meant was if you think you are ready to handle having sex, then you'd best be damn sure you are ready to face the consequences. And I am not a Christian extremist, simply an adult who understands responsibility. I also said I do not think you should be able to get an abortion just because oops you got pregnant. As I said if you were adult enough to do the deed, then be adult enough to grow the seed. If you remember I did also say there were acceptible reasons for abortion. If I were an extremist I would have said no abortion at any time. Get over yourself.

what was said is true, I believe that choice is right and only women have that right to choose,But the statement is true and whats wrong with truth???we as women have to take responsibility for our actions and protect ourselves from unwanted pregnancies,we sure do,and if we aren't responsible we should abstain from sex. If a person were reckless driving we'd say take responsibility so we should be responsible with sex. none of this has anything to do with any kind of rape, that is a woman's choice as well and a harder choice than normal.

there are certain rules, laws and mores all must follow within the society in which all of us live for the good of all. granted this tends to limit a few personal freedoms but other than these limitations one should not have the right to inflict their will on others as each has the right to live their life the way they desire due to free will.

I think we all have the right, maybe even the responsibility to try to convince someone our way is right. When we pass laws on morality, we have gone too far.

Those people see abortion as killing, and many are very passionate about it. When people get passionate, we get silly.

Most will kick and scream about aborting the baby, but they don't care at all about the life of the mother...even whether she lives or dies...because she sinned in their eyes. I wonder if they think Jesus approves of their behavior. They really don't know Jesus if they believe that.

They want to sound important and holy, but the truth is that they are self-righteous and hypocritical. There's a skeleton inside very closet! When they focus on someone else's lifestyle, then the attention is not on their own personal faults.

They said the same thing about Martin Luther King, a Christian minister who was telling people whom they had to work, eat, and go to school with.

Now his birthday is a national holiday.

I'm glad it is.

It seems to me like a lot of the others posting here would have told him to "mind his own business."

Sad.

Well, it seems we're overlooking birth control and condoms. Also, we've ignored rape. And yes, most PEOPLE (Christians included) are very dogmatic, but then everyone's just trying to help, even you.
