My dear if you think that having a time machine can resolve this issue or for that matter any issue -then you are mistaken.
This issues exist not to be resolved but to be complicated. Now let us say you do have a time machine -the questions arise:
1. Who will own it?
2. Who will operate it?
3. Who will travel on it?
4. Who will represent the sects, clans and so on?
5. How will the obtained information be re-transmitted?
History is nothing but re-transmission of the writers opinion of the situation, as preceived by him/her and as conveyed by him/her and the ability of the listener to receive, interpret and decipher and then retransmit the same.
You cannot eliminate the bias from the whole thing here, this will come naturally and inadvertently. so let us forget about being idealists and start being realists.
As for the technology to reach a level where time travel is possible then this hypothesis is self defeating, what does not exist anymore, how can you recreate? Matter has been destroyed and matter has been converted, how can you recreate backwards?
Too many unanswered questions though, yes time could move slower for the person travelling beyond the speed of light but it will only be travelling in one direction over one physical plane and there is no reverse gear for backward travelling.
Imagine you travelling the globe so fast that nobody notices that you ever left, then what will you see at such high speed -even if you made a stop over -you could only catch a day in the dawning or offing in some other country, some other part of the globe.
Crazy isn't it?

I did read of some research 3 years ago. I think it was at MIT. They put a pulse of energy into a tube. It came out before it had gone all of the way in. So this pulse was in 2 places at once.
My question, if you had a time machine and went back, then would the machine still exist? would you?
You couldn't go to the future because it wouldn't exist.
I don't think God will allow this.

There will be a Way we will find out what is Truth, and there will be Peace on Earth. This won't happen with a time machine. But, when Jesus comes again to bring His Kingdom on Earth. Every knee shall bow and confess Jesus Christ is Lord.

It would seem that time travel into the furure is already theoreticaly possible. By moving at super-light speed a path into tomorrow is conceivable. I believe that a trip into the past involves changing the supreme being and he might not like that.

No, because if in the future a time machine is built then where are the time travelers now? Why arn't there "time tourists" so to speak?

The likelihood would seem to be zilch, although it would be a handy way of discrediting all the ludicrous religions floating around in the loonysphere these days.

I don't think so. It would cause more chaos because people would all be trying to change the future and past to benefit themselves. It would be awesome if we could all live in harmony - lets pray that can happen some day.

Well, by Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity, it is impossible to go back in time, since that would require for one body to go faster than the speed of light, and that is impossible. Besides, I don;t want someone to change something that will erase me!!!!!!!

I think not. I don't believe that 'the past' or 'the future' exist as places that we could travel to.
