look on the door where the latch is their should be a little black switch with the symbol of a lock on it push it up towards the lock position

On my car - which is not a Buick - on the back open doors are a switch that says lock - push it close the doors and a child can not open from the inside - works on mine!@

Open the doors look at the back side of the open door for a curved slot with a lever push to lock out the inside handle. If equipt. the century will be a little safer.

You have to take it to the dealer, which sucks because they are going to charge you.
