I would like him to know to let it slide if I get down or upset. But I don't want to tell him why obviously... But then we are in our 30's...

I just don't know what my moods will do...

Excuse me, but I think this is a cop-out. Maybe you can't control how you feel, but you can control what you do about it. If you sometimes feel moody or depressed, do you regularly take it out on those around you? Why would you do that? You must not be a very pleasant person to know.

Sure, we all have our off-days, but we also have the power to manage our behaviors. Nobody has to know how you feel inside. I know people who live in constant pain, but you would never know that from the image they project. Wrap a smile around it and make people glad to be with you all 30 days of the month!

yes, let him know what to expect. Its all a part of keeping communication open. If you let him know things like this, he will appreciate it and be prepared rather than wondering what the heck is happening. I am sure he will be understanding. You said you are in your 30's, obviously he knows about periods and the hormonal changes that happen. If you think he is a "keeper", tell him and don't be ashamed. Its a natural occurance

Yes.
better 2 B honest &
he's not a mind-reader, is he?
Most men when enlightened tend 2 go with the flow & cope when U're not 100%.
He'll understand, but U have 2 tell him.

It would be best to let him know. We are very sensitive that time of month and he might just run off if he doesn't know the reason and when you do get moody. So if you want to save your relationship then I suggest you do.

Just tell him the truth. At this age, men expect this to happen so tell him. Not something to be embarrassed about.

If he hasn't figured out our mood swings yet....he isn't exactly the brightest man around.

Just tell him to get used to it and just be gald we don't get worse.
