What a freaked out question.
There is no difference between what a reality based person would say and what someone who was deluded would say, because this person is delusional. If the schitzoid thought they were an air plane pilot, they would say something air plane-pilotesk.
Religious belief is not a form of mental illness, but there seems to be however a genetic predisposition in humans for belief in a higher power.Religion crosses cultures, race and time.
Religion has always been apart of human existence.
In mental illness ,delusions take many forms, not just delusions of grandeur.
The question that begs to be asked is what is genetically wrong with people who do not have this common genetic predisposition.

No. You are not God and I won't worship you but you can probably be loved. Those with mental illnesses have a "short circuit" in their brain and it causes good and evil to fight for the person. A lot of youth who attend church are there more for the social aspect as opposed to a religious experience which is incredibly sad. It's the worldly youth - who do every thing for acceptance, that causes hiccups on the road to life - most make it out okay, sadly some are lost in the shuffle.

Sorry, but beliefs and superstitions are not in the territory of sick minds. a healthy human needs an explanation for everything, and the beliefs and superstitions present an available explanation for the incomprehensible.
it is the truth and scientific knowledge acquired that is slowly replacing faiths and superstitions.

Everybody likes to blame God for everything, why not put the reason where it belongs, Blame Satan, The stupidity of many people today, & your own stupidity for asking this question. Satanism is also a religion, put the blame there for you answer.

You would be more believeable if you could perform miracles .
At least you can be seen and actually talked to.
Why do we lock up people that say they are god ?
Isn`t he suppose to come Back in the form of man again ?

As soon as I figure out what the hell schitophrenia is I will get back to ya. Haven't even had a cup of coffee yet. It's too early to deal with gross misspellings.

I agree. Look at Islam, it's a bunch of schizos running around man. They hear voices, and do things in the name of made up person. Kind of scary.
