There are a few different answers to this... One is Energy. The riddle asks for 3 words ending in GRY, but does not say it has to be in that order.
The other is Language ( the riddle is what is the 3rd word in "The English Language"
There is not another word that actually ends in GRY in that order.

You wrote the riddle down wrong, its suppose to be there are 3 words in "the english language"...mean word one is the, word two is english and word 3 is language. So I guess to your sentence the answer would be the word "end".
