But the problem wiht love is that you cannot get a grasp of it unless it is embodied in a relationship with a person/thing/animal/cause... or God.
You worship a person.

What if I say that I never went looking for love or God but discovered both and both was always there right inside of me. Life passed me by and there seemed to be no time to really stop and think because I was surviving, living and always analyzing. It got to a stage where all the analyzing showed me what was in time. In all the time I had analyzed the answers to questions were always there-right under my nose, right inside of me
I learned that God was always there, and so was the love he filled me with-and in my work I have learned how Christ fills time-I share what I've learned and what I see
In love is the light and in the light is the truth

Have you watch "Groundhog Day"? He was "freed" only after the realisation that selfish motives brings about its own destruction. If we workship God for reasons other than self, then we are are doing it for the wrong reasons. Winning lotteries, beating the opponent, healing loved ones etc. are not what God is about. I find it amusing when some one goes down on their knees when they beat the hell out of an opponent! Surely the opponent cannot be too happy with his/her God if that be the case.

i think of being an Atheist you won't have the ability to appreciate our theory of worship.. considering you're sturdy on your viewpoint of "God is not any the place".. Such sort of recommendations wont help you appreciate and settle for the belief of worshiping the god.. yet reality is a reality. One will worship for each and all of the failings which you got here up with this question.. all human beings ( Theists ) worship by using fact of affection in the direction of god.. additionally they worship god to fulfill their needs too.. on a similar time as worshiping god they gets peace of soul and that they sense refreshed and their recommendations would be energetic.. yet an Atheists by no potential settle for this... yet i disagree that by using worry on god in basic terms makes them to worship.. Theists worry on God, whilst they devote sins.. Theists worry on God whilst they betrayal any of expensive or close to one.. Theists worry on God whilst they at the instant are not meant to do their duty wisely.. Theists worry on God whilst they did something incorrect and apologizing god to forgive them..

You're right about love but I don't see the connection with God. You're probably preaching from the same book. Anyway in the end you're right, if there was a little more love in the world it might be a better place!

GOD IS LOVE.
There is no use of worshipping God without loving him.
God hasn't forbidden humans to love each other, it's the only thing he wants humankind to do to each other.
But the sort of love I'm afraid you're talking about, between male and female, God hasn't also forbidden this sort of love but if you remain in the limits told by him.
God is the reality of everything and we human are only reflections.
Isn't it better to love the real thing than to reflections?

As I understand God, God and Love are one in the same so that "worshipping" (celebrating) Love is the same as celebrating God.

World is not a perfect place, that's why. Logics, simplicity and common sense have not won the battle against stupidity and ignorance.

Great question! I can't think of any reason to worship anything except that it's hard-wired into the human brain to bow down to the biggest monkey.
