Let me explain that she has been taken to the local trauma center and seen their. This was done when she was at the baby sitters house. It is unclear as to the extent of the damage, but this happened 4 weeks ago. The miracle workers of the trauma center were able to save her life, now I want her to be able to have the best quality of life. She is currently in rehabilitation --- she just entered today. Dispite the screen name I have chosen, I love my kids and woudl never ever hurt them. I nearly died when I heard what had happened. I would never ever wish this on anyone. It is pure hell seeing your daughter in the PICU. I just want the best possible outcome for her. I know the staff at the rehab hospital is the best at what they do. I just want to stack the deck as greatly in my daughter's favor as I might possiblly be able.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through such a tramatic experience (and that so many rude answers were given to your question from people who obviously did not read all of the infromation given). Having a child in PICU is horrible. I sugguest that you ask the healthcare professionals at the hospital who has the best rep. and then get on the horn to family and friend and ask them as well. You might also try a Dr. find service listed in the yellow pages of the nearest LARGE city with a children's hospital. God's best to you and your child.

take her to the emergency room. The doctors and nurses will know exactly what to do.It seems that she should have a doctor by now ! If this is some kind of joke, it is in bad taste, at the very least.
