Quite possibly.

A good session at the gym can do wonders for your concentration.

The change of scene gives you a bit of a break, and the exercise itself releases endorphins which will make you happier!

Yes, most definately. I suffered from mental stress and after I became a Christian, I found out that your local College runs Stress and Anxiety Management Courses, so when I attended, I walked there and home every day, considering the college was an hour and a half away. One thing led to another and I ended up doing more different courses, re-educating myself. So instead of going all that way once a week, I was going everyday for 5 years. However, if I thought it was too much at any time, I halved the walk and took the bus the other half of the way so as not to overdo it. My mind and body found the perfect balance eventually.

However, before I came to accept Christ as my Saviour, I was on a downward spiral and becoming more and more depressed. I just simply prayed for guidance and the Lord opened many doors of opportunities for me. He also gave me peace of mind.

Yes most definitely. This is for a number of reasons: -
*Your body releases endorphins, which are fell good chemicals when you exercise
*You get a real sense of achievement when you exercise which in turn makes you fell good about yourself and so on
*Blood pressure (if high) can be normalised and many other health benefits gained from regular exercise - this makes you fell good

Regular physical exercise helps to maintain good mental health such as keeping us from depression. If more physical exercise means getting bodily tired then it will not help either physically or mentally.

Absolutely - it is a well-known fact. Many doctors recommend that patients with depression take exercise.
I regularly exercise, and I feel great. It's a great way to unwind if you've had a hard day and feeling stressed.

Healthy body - healthy mind!!

Good luck

Unless you do some mental exercise to improve your mental strength.

normally yes.

I think its endorfins ( sp )

You feel better immediately after exercise and can also cope later on when stress/problems arise.

Having said that, motivation to make that first sustained effort can be impossible to overcome for some people - hence they remain poorly ( not thier fault )
