A human of course!! That's an old riddle from Ancient Greek Mythology! There is a myth saying that the Sfiga(greek word for a creature) asked everyone who passed from there a riddle and if they didn't answer correctly she killed them.
A baby "walks" on both his legs and arms before learning how to walk properly.
Afterwords he walks on his legs
And when people get old use a stick to help them walk (2legs + 1foot = 3)

It is a human. When we are babies, we crawl on all fours. When we grow to adults, we walk on our own two feet. When we get old, we use a cane to help us walk.
