We know it's "the broth" but, in India: too many cooks spoil the curry. In America: Too many cooks form the senate. In Britain: Too many cooks form The Labour Party. In Iraq: Too many cooks cause a bigger revolution than in Saddam Hussein's time. Who are the real spoilers here?????

Too many cooks spoil the CHILI.
Of course Brits would say 'broth' since their cooking is so terribly bland. (There is a reason for the stereotype.)
