I'd say , the second largest form of corruption second only to politics. Organized religion is powered by an adgenda and it's not God. Churches are ran on the exact principles as any other business. The more members means additional revenue and larger tax exempt status and better consideration for city funds...etc. Churches today are nothing more than a huge entertainment production with video monitors and high tech sound systems along with the increase in days where services will be offered. It's been a while for me but do they have church services , 7 days a week now ? Naturally , it goes without saying that every time you enter their doors you are beholden to god to Tythe and to Tythe often. Church members often become sarchastic, hypocritical and back biters with nothing but bad things to say about their neighbors.I believe catholicism to have the largest denominal following , world wide. The Catholic Church . A government body as powerful as any on earth. An inspiational place where one finds their true relationship with the almighty. A place where countless generations of young boys are forever scarred by the priest responsible for teaching you the way for God to welcome you into the Kingdom of Heaven. Wait a minute ! Are we talking about grown men that molesting young boy's for their own sexual gradification ? Yup !I'm not sure if well ever know how long it has been going on nor if it is to continue. They might even teach it in priest school. Who is to say ?Appearantly , the Pope has never been too concerned about that little problem. He and the rest of his perverted gang have got to issue the laws of the land which all of the world is to follow. Personally, I could understand if there was a lot of confusion in heaven on a few things. Something like : " I still say something is not as it should be "The man cheated on the election and the people of the land re-elected him . And you say that the highest priest in the land are having sexual relations with little boys and the church has been tollerating this behavior" ? " Hey...Jesus...come over here a minute....What exactly did you tell the people of the land whie you were there"? And more importantly...aren't you ready to go back and fix it ? Easy now. I am a devout Christian and have read every wonderful word printed in the bible and there is no place , at all , where it says that God did not have a sense of humor. My God lives within me and therefore ,we share a laugh or two.

In my country, our church is oftentimes being utilized by a priest to express their political displeasure against our government. We have a law that separates the church from the affair of the states. But if the government pursue agenda contrary to the belief( ie the use of birth control)they go out in the pulpit and speak ill that cause so much disorder in our country. The church is being utilized also to endorse candidates in political posts. It is like the whole country is being run by the church's 3 biggest denominations. The government has to please these groups at all costs.

There are more to tell. Basically this is the perception or what I know about these churches in my country.

The Church is not a building; it is people. I believe the true Church is the "body of Christ," or those who have been infused with the Holy Spirit and who do Christ's work here on earth. However, to human eyes, the visible church also consists of many "tares." Only God really knows what's in the heart and therefore only He will separate the tares from the wheat in the end revealing the "true Church."

The church was started by Jesus. The true church consists of all people who accept Jesus as their personal Lord. The church is not a building with a steeple or any other building, for that matter. If Jesus is not your personal Lord, then you are not in the church, even if you are a member of an earthly organization like a Catholic or Presbyterian Church. Being a member of an earthly organization does not guarantee a person will go to Heaven when they die. Only accepting Jesus as personal Lord and serving Him will guarantee that a person will go to Heaven when they die. All others are hell bound.

Helo ToO hOt 4.

My believe is that the church of christians is the christians themselves.
The building is just a general meeting place for the christians to meet and get a preach from someone saying that he knows God.
This does not count for all. This is the reason that I rearly go to the meeting place.

I still believe that my faith in Jesus will get me to heaven and not the "church" as a matter of speaking.

The concept of 'church' is doomed to fail in it's role of edifying human beings spiritually because as soon as an organization is formed, the personalities of the members distort the message and make it banal and self serving.

I learned this in many different churches. I found 'church' is not the place to go to develop one's spirituality.

The church is a waste of everyones time and money. It is a scam for some mentally ill people to have a way of income off of everyone else. It is based on a bunch of lies and a waste of a building and land.

the church building houses the real church which is the body of believers in Jesus Christ the Son of God. It is a place for people to gather for worship, to learn more of the Bible, to send help for the poor sick and prisoned. It is a happy place.

A pompus organization with stuffy rituals that bear no resemblance to anythiing God or Jesus wanted with hard seats, too much standing, sitting, kneeling.

They are cold

Hallow

Echo too much

Poorly lighted, making it hard to read the Bible or Hymnal (must be a conspiracy with the Opthamolocal profession)

They have parking lots which encourages people to pollute God's world and air and make greenhouse gases which I'm sure neither God nor Jesus would approve of.

They are filled with many hippocrites who have their first baby 5 month after their church wedding.

They are far too PC
