Those small Tesco own brand mini pork pies are really nice. Just cut all the pastry off the outside first. 30p

And to drink -

Tesco's own version of Red Bull called Kick - a bargain at 44p

Have a good lunch.

tesco does some nice stuff

i tend to check out the 'yellow labels' before making a decision as to what to get because you can often pick up a real bargin there

i also prefer to cook from scratch as it is usually cheaper that way as well as buying in bulk and using the freezer to keep foods fresh

I bought a ready made chinese meal from the deli counter, warmed it through and it gave me terrible food poisoning (landed me in hospital)! Suppose it could have happened with food from anywhere though.

They do a lovely creamy victoria sponge cake with fresh cream and raspberry jam yuuummmy.

They do a nice ready-made cheese pasta, but I usually head straight for the cheese and onion pasties!

They used to do this chilli bread but they don't stock it any more, that's what happens when you ignore the needs of your customers and globalise, boo hoo.
