You are already a GREAT mum, stop been hard on yourself. I have 6 kids and to be able to spread yourself around can be hard. Its the little moments that count, like when your child comes up to you and askes for help or just for a hug, its those moments when you stop what you are doing and pay attention to them even if it is just for a moment....these memories will last a life time with them...so you dont need to ask for advise on how to be a good mum, you could give us advice....YOU ARE A GREAT MUM....

Sounds like you are a superb mum. Just getting through the day with five kids is hard enough without all the other stuff that goes with it. Stop trying to hard, your kids are obviously happy, stimulated and loved and will entertain each other. Start thinking about what you can do for yourself to make your job a little easier. It sounds like its you who needs to be spoilt a little.

You sound like a fantastic mum, what are you worried about?! Bringing five children up isnt easy and is incredibly time consuming. If you can get your children to sit and read and draw together then your doing something right girl!
My son like to go to the park, thats a good way of burning off lots of crazy energy.

Your doing great as long you feed, water and clothe them you have got nothing to worry about. I know how old your children are but it is always good to be a good listner and give them good advice or help when they need when they have done something wrong try not to go mad at them just explain how upset you are and what they're actions have caused my mom was like this and she's my best friend we've had our ups and downs but i love her to bits and am graeful she has lead me the right way even though at times i thiught she was the enemy lol.

It sounds like you're doing a good job. Make sure you listen to them when they talk and be honest with them when they ask questions. My kids were amazed when I apologized to them for making a mistake. I guess it made me seem human. I know 5 is hard I only had 3, but my sister has 5. I would try and take them out alone every once in awhile. Go to a movie or restaurant or park or shopping. It makes them feel special. Or just go for a walk or bikeride with one.

Ask any mother out there, there is always that feeling that you shouldv'e done more.As long as your children and husband are happy then just be satisfied with the things you get done for them. If laundry and food is done then that is a big issue over the shoulders. May God Bless Mothers, those of them that have children and take care of them.

As long as they are happy, healthy, and each is doing a great job in school then your job as a great mother is done each and everyday they look up to you for love, support and respect. The only thing I can think of is take time for each of them by themselves and as a group and your children will always respect you. and hopefully tell you what is on their minds keep the communications open.

What you don't do enough for them is take some time out each day for yourself, to recharge your own batteries. This is an often forgotten requirement of mothers - that way, you can give them what they need, but keep your own body and mind healthy.
