First and foremost find out what causes you to go into depression. Is it something you see? Is it something you hear ? is it something you have experienced/witnessed/gone through during childhood or more recently ??If employed concentrate on job.If self employed concentrate on business. If unemployed go join a gym/fitness course.Take long walks.Meet good people or people whom you like and who inspire you...Than you will overcome depression in good time.And it is your sheer hard work and will power that will rid you of depression.

U have to go for councelling, if u cannot go immediately u discuss the things with your close friends, or your mother, or any one close to u. Half of your problems will go away if u talk the things over, But if u feel really bad and cannot come out of it, u should go and see a doctor, There is no harm in seeing a doctor,They r there to help us only! If u have faith in God pray, pray and pray.

Keep busy. Get involved with a hobby or two. Get involved with volunteer work in your area. Seek counseling. If you are in recovery from substance abuse depression from time to time is normal even years later.
