it should be (b) - to help poor and needy
but they indulge in (a) salvation of the souls
by doing it they think they can (d) bring God's kingdom here on Earth
but as Jesus himself said " Help Thy Neighbour"
N The best service to God is serving People

MAIN TASKS ..
I think the main task of the church is to SPREAD the message of Jesus Christ. But interms of Christianity and the whole salvation mishap, i suppose the main task of the church is d), where i'm guessing devours a),d) and c)'s description.

What is more important than salvation? a.
Even Church goers might have a hard time making this a priority though. We too often get caught up in the secular world and our faith keeps getting tested.
