First of all, Genesis 2 is the second chapter, not the first.
More importantly, the Bible says that trees were created on day 3, and then God planted a garden on day 6. Two separate actions, you see? Try reading the Bible instead of attacking it, and it becomes a lot clearer.

My lawn is full of green grass, trees and so on. Not completely covered, mind you, but pretty well covered. It was there when I first moved into this place. But next to my house, there was a bare spot. So I planted a garden there, and it took some time for the stuff there to grow it in.
No contradiction with what the Bible says. God created the green stuff. Later, in a bare spot, he plopped a garden in Eden.

We believe it because that is what it says. You want us to make up our own story like you do and then say it is wrong because it doesn't agree with what we say? I am not God. I was not there. So why should I (or you) be the one to write the story. Do you go around telling eye witnesses what they saw? And how do you get that God created trees out of Genesis 2:8 "The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed." If I planted a garden in my backyard would you say that I had created potatoes?

The other big one is 1:16 where is says that night is a light separate from that of day, and as any educated person knows that the moon doesn't make light. The other contradiction is that in book 1 animals are created before humans and in book 2 they are created after.
The apologists say that it could be new stuff he created later on and it pertained to eden only, but that is false because in the first book god says "and god saw that it was good" which means that god was done doing that. Hahaha the person above me and below me just used this bad excuse.

Genesis 2:8 specifies not the CREATION of trees after man, but the placement of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden was created BEFORE man.
You got confused.

WELL... There's is a perfectly good explaniation for this little foible... However, I do not believe that the bible as we have it is perfect or correct as it was written by the hands of moses...
I think there was a HUGE amount of tampering that took place over the thousands and thousands of years that it's been compiled.
However... My answer to your above question, is God created everything spiritualy before it was created Physicaly. It says it somewhere in Gen.. I just can't say where. and somewhere in the translation... or the writing process... the clarity was lost.
So Spiritualy... the trees were created on the 3rd day.. then Physicaly... they were created on the 6th. Or however you want to make sense of it...
"Day" is a mis-translation in-it-of-itself. what ever the Hebrew word was....(don't recall it) really only means "Span of time" and does nottranslate to "Day." So take the term "Day" very loosly, cause it verywell could have been 1000 years, 100,000 years, or possibly 1 Hour.

QUOTE: "i'm no longer being facetious, i've got under no circumstances heard the Christian account of how atoms, aspects, or molecules got here to be." properly right that's one Christian's account of the way it got here approximately. interior of a jiffy of the great bang, the 1st hydrogen atoms shaped, and a speedy at the same time as after that helium regarded because of the fact the effect of a fusion technique. some hundred million years glided by utilising, and the 1st stars shaped. because of the huge pressures at their center, and the correspondingly intense temeratures fusion reactions have been given under way, producing first hydrogen then helium, then carbon, then oxygen, all the way as much as iron. some stars ended their lives in a supernova, turning out to be circumstances much extra intense, and producing the heavier aspects.

No ..God created all animals and plants before man so he could enjoy all the marvelous creation...He set a garden for him to enjoy which was specifically beautiful because the way God set it and God call it Eden, but trees existed already by then, so it doesn't contradict it self on the contrary the whole Bible is a Harmony book, you have to read it all before you judge it.
