once we are dead, where do you think our spirit goes? heaven , paradise, another world or just pure nothingness? I believe that each one of us will go to heaven. and i always thought if heaven doesnt exist, that means when we die, its just pure emptyness. and life wouldnt have any purpose or meaning whatsoever. what are your thoughts? would love you to share what you honestly think. thanks.

Do dogs, cows, fish, birds and squirells also go to heaven or hell, or is it just reserved for humans? If so, then the concept of 'all god's creatures' is flawed. Think about it. The whole idea of a "GOD" is nothing more than the answer to all things mankind has no answer for. There is no 'supreme being' like thay taught us in catholic School. Kansas had it right - all we are is dust in the wind...

I believe in Islam.
Islam says:
= whenever you sleep, you actually die.
= whenever you wake up, you are sent back to your body
= when the body dies the spirit goes th 'Barzach' which is devided to 2 sections ; a) Allieen b)Sijeen i.e. fo the good guys and the bad guys
= on the day of resserection we shall all be judged and fairly rewarded
= The lucky good guys, go to various stages of Paradice
= Criminal bad guys go to hell
= Hypocrits go to the center of hell
----------
This may sound unconvincing. but if you can study the religion in detail, step by step, you will get the tangable vision.
= wishing you devine guidance
good luck

Who better to know than God (Ecle 9:5) After dead there is hope for the future God also promises to bring back the people we lost in death (john 5:29). Being Dead is like being sleep Jesus said it too (luke 11:11).

Death is not the end. Death is really a beginning—another step forward in Heavenly Father’s plan for His children.
Someday, like everyone else, your life on Earth will end and your physical body will die. But your spirit will not die. At the time of physical death, your spirit will go to the spirit world, where you will continue to learn and progress.
Death is a necessary step in your progression, just as your birth was. Sometime after your death, your spirit and your body will be reunited—never to be separated again. This is called resurrection, and it was made possible by the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Heaven is the place where God lives and the future home of those who follow Him. The hope of our Heavenly Father and the goal of each person on this earth is to return to live with Him. This means that the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father has been provided through the grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
After we are resurrected we will be judged and rewarded for the things we have done in this life.
Jesus Christ taught His Apostles that in His Father’s house are “many mansions” (John 14:2). Our loving Heavenly Father is anxious to reward all of His children according to their obedience to His commandments and their willingness to follow the Savior.
Those who do these things and are worthy to return to the presence of God and Christ become “heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:17) of all that the Father has. They will return to live with Heavenly Father and with their families in His eternal glory.
Those who choose not to follow our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will receive a reward according to what they have done in this life, but they will not enjoy the glory of living in the presence of God.

When our spirits leave their bodies they go to either Spirit Paradise or to Spirit Prison to await the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and to be judged of him. Then after this, after their Resurrection and Final Judgement, then we are sent to a place that suits us and the life we lived here.
So, we better use this time to repent, to find the truth, to live it and share it, to better ourselves daily, and choose the right and be faithful.

To be absent in the body means to be present with the Lord,if you have accepted Christ Jesus as your Savior. It's called Eternal Life in Christ. Jesus said He goes to prepare a place for you,so that where He is you may be also. In my Father's house there are many mansions. I believe Jesus is in Heaven & that is where you go when you die.

I am a Christian and I understand that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, I believe that I will be with Christ.
I don't really care where that is, just so I am with Jesus.

Darkness.
Until you open your eyes (provided you have) again and you find out (much later) to be a bug, a squirrel, a human being, a dog... etc. What a surprise!
