I call them spirits. There are good ones and there are bad ones. They cannot hurt us. They cannot touch us.
Sometimes they appear very scary.

At any rate, to keep them away or to keep ourselves protected from them so we never get possessed is to listen to wholesome and uplifting music, don't use vulgarity or take the Lord's name in vain, don't take drugs or get drunk, don't summon them, don't use a uigi board (however you spell it), don't dwell on negative, depressing, bad, dark or horrible images, don't look at porn, don't masterbate, don't have premarital sex, don't kill, don't steal, don't cheat, keep the commandments, repent, do things to invite the Holy Spirit, and much, much more.

I used to see them as a child, but not very often. Just at random times in random places throughout the years.
The most recent experience was just 3 years ago, and it had been YEARS before that when I'd seen them last.
I am not schitzofrenic or anything; my parents had me tested for everything when I was a child cuz it scared them that I saw these things. I am perfectly normal and sound (well, not PERFECT, but ya know).

Anyway, it's not cool. I don't recommend trying to see one, or invite it's presence or influence.

If one ever comes or you feel it's presence, just say this, "In the Name of Jesus Christ I command you to leave". Sometimes you have to say it three times in a row, but it works. I promise.

My sister swears her house is haunted by the old lady that used to live there. Apparently the ghost only ever visits when my sis is alone in the house and she does claim to have seen body parts (the back of a leg, a hand etc) disappear round corners when she enters or leaves a room.
We were tempted to have her committed but the kids would miss her!!

I used to see them when I was a kid, and it was kind of a surreal feeling. There might have been slight feelings of uneasiness, sometimes; but usually, it was just a moment or several of being dumb-founded, and it would be anywhere between a few seconds and a few hours after the fact that I started to ask myself, "Did I REALLY just see that?" Depending on the spirit, I'd either get the serious creepy-crawlies or I would just sort of shrug it off and go, "Meh."

ecclesiastes 9:5 says the dead are conscious of nothing. Ghosts aren't the dead, they are demons masquerading to stop you believing Gods word, and thereby stop you serving Jehovah which is their only goal in life

Please do not keep this 'want'. They are different creation, let them live a different life than yours. If you happen to encounter one, donot get scared. They are not superior to humans. All that some evil-spirits do to some weak humans is to overwhelm their thoughts and then to let the human act against humanity.
