Well, it might if frozen in a deep freeze, or chemically, but not stepping outside on a snowy day! (I hope!)

Also, rather randomly - if you use houseold bleach to put a streak in your hair it will most likely snap off as well!

No, if hair is only covered with a layer of ice(which happens in Mcdonald's walk-in freezer) it will not snap. But if it is frozen to it's roots(internally) it could happen. My advice is to let your head defrost :-)

Its the moisture that freezes and its the moisture that snaps,to get down to the temperatures that would cause your hair to snap off you would be a long time dead!

Yes. Everything snaps off if it freezes. So don't go sticking your head in the freezer.

I used to walk to school with my hair slightly wet, and I would break off the ice sometimes -- but i never completely bent the hair -- just enough to crack the ice to get the it off.

If you do it right yes. I have watched a friend of mine do it whilst drunk and believe me he was in pure agony after doing it. I think it is something to do with the bonds in the hair, freezing makes hem ridgid and easier to break.
