i hav read many religious books including christianism,...etc and all say very bad on women...wat u think of this?

All of these books were written in a time where Women were not looked upon as beings that were equal. There was a time in history when women were seen as vessels to make babies and they were the property of their men.
When it is men who are writting all these religious documents, they would portray women in the way that they were seen then.. they were temptresses, adultresses, evil creatures.. they were there for the benefit of their husbands, and to make babies...

There are many religions in the World who degrade the status of women but I have found that it is Islam only which has upgraded the status of women... Most people have the misconception that Islam Subjugates teh rights of women and women are opressed in Islam but that is a myth.. If you read the Quran you will come to know that it is vice versa...

obviously you haven't studied Islam yet. Men and women have equal rights in Islam.
Islam gave women rights while the West was still in the bra burning stage in the 1970's.

Religion exalts women -- be it eve-pbuh, mary-a.s, esther and ruth, khadija-r.a, fathima-r.a or ayesha-r.a. there are many good FEMALE ROLE MODELS but you will find them only if u read the Holy Books with total concentration and care.
the MALE DOGMA that has prevailed over the humankind did that not religion. its a GLOBAL ISSUE TODAY.

Nonsense. The Christian Bible speaks highly of women - the Mother of Jesus, for one. It also describes wisdom as feminine. Read our Holy Bible thoroughly and you will discover that.
