It would be unfair to any animal to be left alone when you travel. If you are prepared to board the animal while you are away, it would depend on your living arrangements. Do you live in an apartment? A House with a big back yard? Too many variables to consider to make an intelligent decision.

A stuffed one.
If you work and travel who will be careing for your pet.
Dogs take alot of time and care and if you are not home every day it would be very hard to raise a puppy and hard to keep even an adult dog. Someone else would be doing all the care for hte dog and you would be just some who comes by once and awhile.
The dog needs to have time to bond with you to develope a relationship with you and it sounds like you do not have that kind of time right now in life.
Wait awhile until things chage some then get adog.

No breed will suit your lifestyle. All breeds require consistant care and attention.

Wait until your life is less hectic and you have more time to devote to a dog before getting one. A dog of any breed who doesn't get the necessary care/attention quickly turns into a destructive dog that will chew everything you own, bark excessively, dig, urinate all over, ect.

The only way you should have a dog is if it can come to work and travel with you. Otherwise it will be too lonely. Dogs are living, feeling creatures that need company, not toys to be put on a shelf when you are not playing with them.

Firstly if you travel a lot then it is best that u don't keep a dog specially if u are single as frequent movement to kennels and staying with others makes the animal suffer and they start misbehaviour. Ideal would be to keep a pet when u have settled down.

None. dogs are social creatures that need daily interaction and WALKING if u cant give that then ur not ready to have a dog, they hate being alone.

since you are gone so much maybe a dog is not a good idea right now. He would have to be boarded, or dog-sat which sounds lonely for a dog.

A stuffed furry one. All the live ones require daily attention, it just isn't fair on the poor mutt.
