If your god is all-powerful, he should be able to provide for himself.

Its like tax if you don't earn it then you can't pay it, but imagine the feeling of actually being in a position to put in double what you are putting in now and still having 90% left to spend as you wish.
Your church will also tithe their income - usually to missions, so you would possibly be robbing someone the knowledge of God and ultimately eternal life.
If everyone tithed as they were led then the phrase "money makes the world go round" would take on new meaning.
Hope this helps.

read your Bible. do not believe everything the guy passing the hat says. Tithing is not required by gentile christians today. Everything that is required is listed in the 10th chapter of Acts. We are to give what wecan give joyously. personally I give plenty when I have more I give more some say too much but probably cuz it made them look back, but I do not sugest antone is suposed to give anything, and if a person did not want to give at their chuch where there is a nice building and hungry people near by or no clean drinking water for one single person on earth. More die each month than died in the towers from no clean water.

I don't believe in God so I can't rob him.As for tithing that is given to Men(the church).I have never heard of any of them giving it to God.If there is a God he does not need or ask for your money. If you want to give ,send it to a charity that you have investigated and believe in.
