Pay attention to what you put in your mouth. No un-diet sodas, and exercise at least 30 minutes every day. Even if it's just taking a brisk walk, do something that makes you break a sweat. Also, drink plenty of water. Remember, if you do these things for 2 weeks (every day) they'll start to become a habit and become a lot less effort, because they'll become part of your normal everyday life. Don't tell yourself you're on a diet, tell yourself you're just changing some of your habits in order to live healthier.

What worked for me is I started drinking water and iced tea only. No soda or juice.
And nothing in my mouth after 7:00 P.M. That was the hard one, but it worked not to go to bed with a full stomach.
Oh yeah and exercise at least 4 times a week. That`s the other hard part!!
good luck!!

Forget fad diets. I have always used the "Eat less, Move more" diet. Find something active you enjoy doing (not eating) and stay with it. Diet for weight loss is far less effective than exercise for weight loss, but you must fuse the two!
There is no magic solution. You didnt gain that weight overnight and you wont lose it overnight. Just remember, your beautiful either way!!
Good luck!
