I would tell you to take it extremely slow .. needless to say people can pretend to be anything online. Allow the trust to build and friendship.. But do take it very SLOW. I met and fell in love with my husband online .. it can happen. But not everyone, sadly is trustworthy.

No, you should not trust people you meet on the net. Yes, a crush is definitely possible. In the event that one finds themselves crushing on a stranger on the net, my advice is take it VERY slow. It's possible that they are as great as they seem but it's also possible they are a crazy, psychostalkerkiller type person. Even be careful about giving out your phone number because they can do a reverse look up on the white pages to find your address. Check them out. Google their name and/or screen name to see if there is a lot of consistency to their various web postings and such.

No you should not always trust people on the net,but there r some people out there who are genuine.I met a great guy online nd although we have never met we have spoken on the phone alot nd we both admitted to having feelings for each other. So it is possible to have a crush on someone you meet online but you just need to be very carefull.

well, I met my fiance on the net..but i dont know if it counts because we were from the same town and then we figured out that his friends knew my friends so then like we had seen each other before but we hadnt talked to till that day..so I feel it would be different because he wasnt in the other side of the country or many miles away something. But I trust him:P So i guess it would all depend...but personally I wouldnt because of all those crazy stories on the news, the only reason i trusted my fiance at 1st because I knew he wasnt lying because my friends knew him.
