I have about 500 pounds- is this enough. Should I consider second hand?

For 200 American dollars I got a nice Hybrid from Dick's Sporting Goods. I think you can most certainly get a GOOD bike you'll like... just be sure to get the optimal wheel type... will you go off road or stay on paved paths. Be sure to ask about that. Even if you go second hand, still spend lots of time jogging the brains of the folks who work in bike shops and sporting good stores. Take it all in, then realize that you can most certainly spend 500 pounds or less to get what you need, I mean, how many more road trips are you going on and many if not most bikes are very very very well constructed. No need to go broke.

500 pounds or less, then u better choose a second hand bike, coz u won't get a better bike in that much money!!!! So y don't get a second hand used bike.
