You should not hit the teacher. Not only is it inappropriate to respond to violence with violence it may make matters worse. She could have you suspended, expelled, or even file assault charges. Now I am not saying that her behavior is appropriate or even legal. In the U.S. it is illegal to use corporal punishment in the classroom. You need to tell your parent or guardian, tell another teacher or counselor at school, and tell the principal. If no action is taken by the school within a week call social services or the police and report the abuse. At the very least the principal should call a meeting with the teacher and your parents. Depending on the extent of the abuse the teacher may be investigated or even fired. No one has a right to lay their hands on you.

No; do not hit back.

You are making a very serious allegation against this Teacher. I would strongly advise you to see if there are any witnesses to this assault and make a legal complaint. You (and your Parents) and your witnesses will need to make statements. If there are marks, photos will need to be taken and used as evidence.

Make sure your statement is 100% true or you may find yourself in heaps of trouble.

Only if no one else is looking...Seriously though, if that is illegal in your country CHARGE HER. Make sure your friends or classmates see it happen.

If that is allowed in your country (for her to hit you) wait until after dark and key her car or throw rotten eggs at her house. Teachers that don't respect their students don't deserve to be respected. It really makes me angry to read that teachers hit their students.

You make sure you have witnesses then charge your teacher with assault.

I wished I had the facility for doing so when I was at school!
