It's cause He has faith in us. Atheists, does anyone have faith enough in you to test your limits? What are you willing to do for someone who may not be there for you? If your mommy didn't love you, would you be there for her, would she be there for you? Anyone in a relationship will tell you that having trust is the most important thing. If never asking a question, or putting them thru a test, is your way of finding out, then you're screwed. God welcomes questions, in fact, He expects them.

It is training, not testing. Sometimes described as refining. Every experience we go through is designed to increase our capacities for love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, patience, humility and self-control. God does not allow us to have more than we can take, gives us the resources to get through them, but also gives us a way of escape if we don't think we can cope. Mind you, then we would just have to face that kind of situation again. Each situation shows us the faithfulness of God and increases our faith and trust in Him

the fact that god is universal, he test everyone from torment christians belivers to mild mannered satanics. christians and god are not exclusive or a form of a private limited organisation upholding anything thruthful. This test, is just a way of telling belivers stop palying god

Like joining the special forces - you need to weed out the un worthy and the incompetent, or those who ask to many awkward questions.
Although instead of getting a job in the army at the end of it it all, you get to bounce around on fluffy clouds with Angels with harps and so on.
Well, that's the idea anyway...

I don't think god is or ever purported to be responsible for all challenges humans face. Humans just began rationalizing that suffering must be a test. Frankly i think god would be pissed about the humans turning suffering into something its not.

keeping the faith in tough times helps us to grow mature in spirit, and gets us a better reward in heaven. also helps us know we can lean on Him when He's all we've got. It builds faith, brings us closer to Him. It sucks but I'm sure it's worth it.

I don't believe God does test us in the sense that he causes adversities for us to overcome, as you seem to imply. Bad things happen to everyone and God is interested in how we react.

Gods and religions are the creations of the human mind. from the same source comes the need for constant testing and needle pricking
