I also think the Lebanese people won the war. The Israelis were shown to be fascists, bombing civilian targets pushing the citizens to choose the only ones who stood up for them, Hezbollah.Perhaps one day the Israelis will understand that the world is not on their side, the majority being against their settlements. They do not have the God given right to live on Palestinian soil, stop further immigration which is stealing land from its true owners. What Israel has been successful in is the questioning of any religions authority over land ownership and turning people away from any kind of religion. What kind of God kills innocents ? After all one of their ten commandments says,"Thou shalt not kill", there are no hidden clauses in this statement, no small print. They can keep their God and believe what they like as long as it doesn't interfere with others, otherwise it is dictatorship. The Arab nations have been ignored for far too long and it is time we started to listen to what their demands are. This has to be part of a global strategy, not just American and British allies of Israel......

Israel wanted to destroy Hezbollah and to free their 2 soldiers...None of this was achieved...so Israel definitely lost...
Hezbollah just wanted to defend Lebanon from another Israeli invasion and they did it...
I really don't think Israel was expecting Hezbollah to be so powerful...Probably they thought that in 2 days they are going to decimate Hezbollah and free the soldiers without much harm done to the Israelis...I don't know why Israelis never learn anything from the past. It's the second time Israel gets defeated by Hezbollah...

Lebanese won. even israel has slaughtered 1,000+ of them, Israeli cowards didnt do well in the ground, and lebanese liberation forces expelled them out. Israel is only good at bombarding civilians, the ability that Hezbollah doesnt have so Lebanese casualties is much more than Israelis

Let me correct you first. The war was not fought between Israel and Lebanon, but between Israel and Hezbollah. And that Hezbollah won the war because, the captured soldiers has not been returned, and that Hezbollah was not stopped by an Israeli brutal bombins from responding positively. Hezbollah is still alive with full capacity of confronting Israel at any time. Remember what happen after the cease fire agreement, Israel attempted to re-attack Hezbollah, but they found that it is still harder to crack.

How to weakened Hezbollah is to release all prisoners being held by Israel in their dongeons, and go out of all occupied terrirories. By then Hezbollah has no reason to capture any soldier again. No justice, No peace.

Living human kind do not know how to win any war in any conflicts on planet earth.
Both side were just getting tired in throwing pots and pans in bashing up one another with heavy loss of casualties on both sides.
Later both go seperate ways to lick their wounds on planet earth.
Only our creator can check-mate living human kind for the good of mankind with landmark in Hiroshima and Nagasaki as warning to livng human kind on planet earth.

well, in my opinion, and sun taus opinion, the fact that hazeb ala managed to stay the fort and managed to continue to exist then they won ... Israeli attack was against hazeb ala and the purpose of the war was to disarm the Resistance guerrillas which Israel failed to do over the duration of the war...

so if the purpose was not met then it is a loss to Israel. days to come will show more strategic talks and politics let us wait and see where things will go ...

Israel not only lost it's war it also lost its peace talks.
