i spent all my money on travel, but i don't think it was a mistake i enjoyed most all of it

I can only partially answer this question as every penny (literally) I have earned in the last 7 years has went towards travelling.

I was lucky enough to have a scholarship during Uni and I saved up all my money from working those 3 Uni years and it funded my first 2 years backpacking around the World when I finished my degree.

Here I am now another 2.5 years after that and all I do is work enough in one Country in order to travel somewhere else. I just got done saving enough money in England to travel for another 1-2 years and I already have my tickets booked for more Countries to visit.

I know I can not read the future but I just KNOW I will never regret spending money on my travels. So far I have spent time in over 20 different countries and in turn, 20 different cultures and to me that is priceless, (sorry, I did not mean it to sound like a bad Master Card commercial!) I assume by the time I am 30ish I will still be on the global road without any saved money to my name, and I will just as happy as I am today.

Money is just paper and there is always more to be made. Memories and introduction to new people and cultures are priceless. I would never have it any other way. I have experienced more of life with my last 5 years on the road than I have the first 20 years of my life in total.
