The Sony N2 is on the way so you should be able to get a good deal on the N1. You should know that even though the N1 is good camera, most of its premium cost comes from the touch screen feature and the 3.0" lcd. The bigger lcd helps when framing a shot and also when you want to see if you got the shot you wanted. I think the touch screen is nice but it's still a gimmick.

It's definitely a nice gadget - though for the money you might do better with a Canon SD720 IS or Sony's T30 (or 50 or whatever). Both have optical stablization that reduces blurry pictures.

The N1 is a very decent camera. It's a year old now, and the price has dropped from the original $500 to just $350 - $380.

sony is a good company but when it comes to camera canon is the best, canon spend 5 million a day just for a research, they are second to ibm, that spend millions to give optimum quality to their products

dont waste ur money on sony cams..they only offer good look and some features...they do not have lens quality...sony is a good company...but in case of digital cam they r not...stick on to traditional lens makers...the best ever in lens quality..cool features, sharp and clear pictures...exotic look...whats more...come on go ahead...
