Cabbage makes your bowels move. If you eat alot of it, you will lose weight, and probably dehydrate yourself.

Yes it does - I've done it several times.

The things to remember though are:

When you make it - make sure you make a HUGE pot of it. Because when all you are eating is cabbage soup, you get very hungry quickly. As long as you have another bowl handy, you can stave off the hunger.

Secondly, you can't cheat. You have to do it for 7 days without cheating. So only get started if you know you will see it through.

The cabbage soup diet is a fad and it doesn't work. If you want to lose weight there is one, and only one, way to do it. You must eat less than you burn. It's just that simple. If you need 2200 calories a day (that's how many I need- 170 lbs, male) you can eat 2100 calories of candy bars and you will still lose weight. I don't recommend it but the point is if you eat cabbage soup or a good ,health, and balanced meal you just need to eat less than your body burns.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

I loved to play ball, and for the first time in my life, I'm actually useful, at a ballgame, instead of just a big stationary person, that maybe if the ball comes within this range, I might get it. I was wearing-I'd always wore XX kind of jersey. And then I went down to medium. And then the medium was too big, that it's coming down here.

So I'm wearing a rockin' outfit, and I'm making a play, and the guy stops, beans it in the face 'cause he says, "Look at your body. You're rockin' hard." And that was the first time I had ever gotten a compliment like that in my whole life.

not if you eat more than you really need to the idea is cabbage is roughage and will pass through the digestive tract fast, but if you can stand the gassiness you will incur go for it!
