Use Windows Media Player 10 or 11 all you have to do is to change the rip music under tools and options to MP3 and there you go MP3 music on your PC or just simply download the music using Limewire for free. get the basic version from http://www.limewire.com

I always use windows media player. Works great.
If you need mp3s for a mp3 player remember that most most of them will play WMA's as well which is is Media Players default file kind.

use the simple one available. windows media player 10. mp3 is mp3. only difference is the bitrates you choose!
first, make sure your player is upgraded to version 10. then go to tools/options/rip music/rip settings/mp3. bitrates you can play with will be at the bottom > audio quality.

I use Cheetah Audio Converter but you can't get it anymore. its about 11 mb. and it does a lot of files like, wma,ogg,wav, mp3.
