Who said it doesn't matter what course you take?

Hanging around and waiting for brilliance to drop from the sky is a big waste of a life.

Study a few different things - study some general stuff too - everyone needs to know the basics.

What do YOU want to do? God wants you to be the very best you you can be. If you want to check out ballet - go do it!

As you begin to study and learn... you will start to see a pattern and grow from there.

The point is that ACTION is always the begining.

We would all like to know the answer to that. Knowledge itself is not evil. It's what we do with the knowledge. Things like
numerology are tools, not a religion. And I've discovered things
about myself. Like I'm supposed to become a leader.
Some people's mission is to be a pain in the butt. To teach
others patience. But this is for sure. Don't hang around waiting
on it. We live in a material world, and opportunity doesn't come
flying in the window.

The only way to know what God wants is to ask (pray).
The quote is untrue. Everything you do matters in some way. Think, if you had gone to bed, and slept like normal people do (don't worry, I am not normal either) you wouldn't be pondering such a deep subject.

despite the fact that i will be receiving many thumbs down for answering your question, i will still say it. assuming from your question, it looks as if you are a beginning christian. i will share the knowledge i acquired from friends, sources, and the Bible. God doesn't want you to live a miserable, stressful life! for in the Beginning, he created everything. and all his creation were flawless! however, one day, adam and eve betrayed Him by eating the fruit of the Tree of good and evil. therefor, by doing that act, sin and death were unleashed into the world. this act also brought in suffering (as you will often see in this world), and separated God from the world permanently. however, for God loves us so much, he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever shall believe in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life! that is the ultimate gift God has bestowed upon us. however, these days, christians are pressured by atheists and evolutionists that there is no Creator, everything happened by accident! and the question of origins depress many people do not worry, for God loves you. do not imagine the Lord as a kid with a magnifying glass and we, as the people are the ants. Remember that God is eternal and created you, therefor, he knows everything and have a great patience; he is not a bad god. So when you do something you know it is "bad", don't hate on yourself for doing that. Hey! we are all humans! everybody makes mistakes! everybody sins! however, do not use that as an excuse to do sinful acts. it is in our nature to sin, for when the time adam and eve ate the fruit, sin is "in" their blood, so when we are born from our mothers, we "inherit" the sin made by adam and eve; we are sinners, despite the fact that we have not actually "sinned". so in conclusion, God loves you and does not want you to live horrible! he is not a magician that cast spells on unfortunate ones and laugh when we stumble or fall. GOD BLESS YOU

You ask! you can also go forward in your present path and if it's not going smoothly you may have a few test to pass if your on the correct path. did you choose it with your heart or your head. Or did someone else point you in that direction. Where you want to end up may not be where you should end up, be opened mined enough to except the the unexpected.

Do whatever you think is right, dude. If you believe that helping other people is what you're meant to do, go with it. Whatever your gut tells you is probably right.

Don't spend so much time worrying about what your god will think of your actions. Do what you want, what you believe. You'll live a happy life that way, and I think any just and loving god would want you to be happy!

It kinda is deeper than hanging out as you would at a bus stop while waiting for a bus. You must pray, pray, pray and walk forward in faith to find out what He wants for you. While inside the God zone, He can use you, but one step outside and you are risking it...then he will use someone else. amen.

Just ask Him. He is real and He will tell you. It's that voice deep in your being that is full of love. If you want to make sure, make sure what you hear makes sense with what He says in the Bible. What He does want you to do is to love Him and love people. That's the first step. And then just see what you hear and what you are drawn to do. Try it and don't be afraid to make mistakes. He loves you.
