Yes, henna is a good treatment for ur hair, it prevents hair loss, breakage..etc. yes ur hair may dry if u do it to prevent hair drying just add these things to henna paste, may be ur beauician doesnt know much about henna or she is not a good beautician now just do this and reply how it works on u
take 5 spoons of henna powder(good quality only)
3 spoons of amla(goosberry) powder
1 cup of yogurt
1 or 2 raw egg white
one spoon or coffee powder or cofee water
1/2 lemon juice
add one spoon of coconut / olive oil to the paste this is to avoid drying of ur hair while using henna
MIX ALL THESE INGREDIENTS KEEP IT FOR A NIGHT, NEXT MORNING BEAT EGG WHITES AND MIX WITH THE HENNA PASTE AND NOW APPLY ON UR HAIR. KEEP IT FOR 1 HOUR, AND WASH IT , PLZ DONT USE SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER WHILE U WASH.
Note: I promise u try this every week, with in three months u can see your hair becomes healthy, strong, long and beautiful

General application
Henna in paste or powdered form
Burns
Apply henna paste or powdered form to 1st or 2nd degree burns reduce pain and fluid loss from the burn site has an anti-microbial effect and so reduces the risk of infection. It also sticks on the wound site until healing is complete
Wounds & ulcers
Henna in paste or powdered form promotes wound healing especially chronic wounds and ulcers, apply locally
Anti-hemorrhage effect
One dose of henna is generally sufficient for nose bleeding (epistaxis) providing a long-lasting cure. Better than cauterization which may cause recurrence but the only side effect of henna here is that it can cause slight sneezing. Henna can be used at other sites like a bleeding duodenal ulcer or oesophagal varicose veins with no known side effects
Anti-viral effect
Treats warts and herpes simplex (applied as a powder it dries the vesicles at the site prevents ulceration and crust formation and prevents secondary infection). It can also be used to treat AIDS
Hair dye
Add Olive Oil to henna to soften and condition, hot Hibiscus tea to enrich red tones, hot strong Black tea to bring out golden lights & drab down red-orange tones. Onion or Lemon juice works well with neutral henna to brighten and Apple cider vinegar will help fix color on grey hair.
Pains
A paste made of the leaves, applied on the affected area, is soothing and gives relief
Sore throat
Soak henna leaves in water and use as a gargle

ya henna really dry out ur hair. i used a few times and my hair was a dry and i hated it. people use it to cover up their grays and some use it to get a natural red color on their hair.
but personally i wouldn't recommend it.

Henna powder is a natural conditioner. It turns white hair into light redish tint. That also not permanant, If you add diff. mixes it makes diff. color.

listen to your beutician, coz it really dries out your hair. henna is a bad thing why not use pantene pro-v or fructis instead. more professionable brands.
