There are many such verses. Christians: sex is evil, violence is okay. In Luke 19:27, Jesus says, bring non-believers here and slay them before me. There are at least a dozen verses of the Bible like that. Why do you think Christians invaded Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist nations for centuries? They have a history of torturing and murdering "heretics."

LUKE 19:27 appears that way when it's taken out of context (using just one or a couple of verses out of context is Satan's Gambit, used the same strategy when tempting Christ) He was speaking of the final judgment when the Angels of God will slay His enemies before Him.

H. B. errs not knowing the scriptures...but it's not sinful to be vegetarian either...really doesn't matter one way or the other..

Act 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

1Co 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

ALSO One of the big reasons Jesus didn't condemn the woman (caught in the very act) is that the men showed their hypocrisy by not bringing the man forth, to be judged also.....

Lev 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

I think Jesus did not.
Many Christians think that "Thou shall not kill" refers only to murdering people, but actually it refers to slaughtering animals also. Can normal Christian imagine Jesus taking a knife and cutting the throat of the little lamb? Or can somebody imagine Jesus killing a cow? Still, Christians are maintaining so many slaughterhouses.

Have we got any of the Spanish Inquisition here today?

Nasty violent people can always find excuses.

Jesus stopped a mob from stoning a woman to death - even though she did what was considered an offence that demanded her life.

Oh wait - he did curse a tree to die, and it did - but I think you mean people.
