in the garden of eden, satan challenge Jehovah's right to rule. he said in effect, that humans could rule themselves. Jehovah could have destroyed satan adam and eve right there, but what about all the angels in heaven who would have seen? they would believe satan was right and Jehovah was covering his tracks. also, God promised that adam and eve's children would live on the earth. so he lovingly let them go about their course of life, but he removed the perfection they didnt deserve and fulfilled his promise they would die if they ate from his tree. so now we are living in the time when satan is trying to prove his way of ruling is best. he has been given time to try and turn all humans against Jehovah.
as stated in other answers, God loved the world so much he gave his only begotten son die as a ransom for our sins. this was so all who loved Jehovah and wanted him to rule them had an oppertunity to regain the everlasting life on earth originally intended for human kind. the time of satan's rule is coming to an end. he has tried and has failed to turn all humans agains Jehovah. he and all his followers will be destroyed for their lack of faith in Jehovah, but those who love God will be rewarded with the gift of everlasting life.

i am still here and he gave his only begotten son so that i may have life and have it everlasting, ok that is the word, here is my testimony. so many times i have went to the hospital so close to death on a life support machine. so many times doctors have given me a greater chance to die than to survive. just 12yrs ago, not that this was the last time God has shown his love, he shows that with every breath i am able to take right now. but in 94 i had a son against my drs advice due to a med cond. and i suffered severe preeclampsia, toxemia, two seizures, and a plasma transfusion. all right after birth. whereas although he were a preemie, at four pounds he was ready to go home, sooner than i was. but i miraculously recooperated sooner than the drs expected, in fact me waking was a miracle to them. all because of Gods grace and mercy. all cause he loves me......

God has unlimited love for all living beings, because every living being is His beloved child, an eternal emanation from Him. But we can realize the love God has for us only to the extent to which we agree to reciprocate His life. If we are selfish, not wanting to give anything to God, we will never realize that He loves us. However, if we constantly serve God in pure love, we will feel His love showering upon us like torrents of rain, and we will get drowned in His unlimited love.

The Gods and Goddesses are what I believe in. I would imagine they love all things.

Why do you feel the need to jump on your soapbox and try to push your personal spiritual belief system onto others? I'm not trying to make you worship the great God of Chocolate, now am I?

If you're religoous, great for you. I hope you and God are very happy together. I don't want to hear about others' love activities, with humans, animals or dieties, thank you.

He doesn't love me!
Firstly, because he doesn't actually have an objective existence, being a cultural construct, and secondly, if you read one of the books attributed to him, the bible, I clearly fall into several of the categories of people he is going to torture forever in hell.

Tough love?

He loves me so much that He sent his son (Jesus) to die for me on the cross at Calvary! He loves me so much, He looks beyond my faults and considers my needs! He loves me so much that He gives me new mercy every morning! This is what I know about God's love.
