Each rejection is like another cut on the wrist. Do you know how much higher the male suicide rate is than female? There are hardly any female suicides. For some men, rejection is like an affirmation of not being a man. Personally, I couldn't give sh!t. I mean--I've never been rejected. :)

Males are just as hurt as females when they are rejected. They usually try to hide their hurt behind being aggressive but it is still there. No one likes rejection. It is a very hard thing to deal with. I think at times males suffer even more then females cause they are less likely to allow themselves a good cry.

I'm a shark in a very large ocean. move on for the next kill. some guys act like infantile fools. those are the weak ones. they did a study on male chimpanzees. When the males were rejected by social females they act violently and throw their feces. Some male humans acts similar.

They throw things around and get very uptight.

I know, I was there once.

Rejection can be a difficult road to hoe.

With maturity, one gets to see that those doing the rejecting are usually shallow and useless to begin with.

In this phony world of gadgets and gimmicks, rejection could at times be a blessing.

One time a friend of mine was stood up so we took him to her house with a dozen roses. He gave them to her mother and told her that he hoped the girl was feeling better. Her mother took the flowers and courteously said she would be sure to give the girl the message. Two months later that girl was allowed to date again. The moral of the story is that you can let things get you down or not. We didn't. Then again I am not the same. I took some break ups hard when they happened, but; I moved on. We all do.

Nobody likes rejection, it hurts our ego and the self-esteem tends to suffer a little. Kindness goes a long way when it is necessary to reject someone. Ya know what they say...you can never have too many friends. Men have egos too, and when they are hurt, they tend to shut down and hold their feelings in. Be kind ladies...

seeing how 'society' has imposed upon the gentlemen to make the moves on a girl, i can say that it dpends on the person.

i am shy, so if rejected, i fall hard - because it takes so much for me to go up in the first place. i fight self-doubt to begin with. rejection only adds insult to injury.

if you are not interested, PLEASE say so in a humane, respectable, (or god forbid ) kind manner.

My ex freaked out so bad I had to call the police because he was trying to break into my new boyfriends house. It depends on the guy though.
