Can people really have good luck and others have bad luck in life? Look around, there are some people who have it made in life and others who have to stuggle to make it. it can be found in every aspect of our lifes. For what ever you are bad at, there is someone who has no problem at whatever it is. Heck, some people are born with everything handed to them; how lucky is that?

well i do think that there is both good & bad luck. but i consider myself lucky to born in a country like india

Yep, some people do seem to have all the luck. While I am not the luckiest person with finances, I sure am lucky in love, I've been happily married for fourteen years to a wonderful man, and I have a beautiful healthy daughter who I more than life itself, so in all the ways that count I am pretty darn lucky.

Just think about this when you say that for whatever you are bad at there is someone that is better at it well that means that you are better at something that person isnt. Everyone has bad luck, some way more than others but everyone has their share of it. It just seems that the ones that have it better than others dont have any bad times at all but to the ones that have it better their bad times may not seem as bad as the bad times we have.

It is all about perspective. In any case all things are balance. would you say a doctor with a seven figure salary and hot wife is lucky? Now realize his situation, he is on call 24 hours a day, he is actually poor for the first 5 years out of medical school that being 8 years post college, and he almost never gets to see his wife without being strapped to a cell phone and pager. Would you say he is still lucky?

It depends on how you look at life. Having everything handed to you tends to make you not suck a good person, but someone who had to struggle through life appreciates the good things more and learns to take joy out of a lot of things that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Strangely if you think about it, most of those who were born with it all handed to them are either taking drugs and gonna die or they have killed themselves already.
To a great extent you make your own luck.You can't prevent every bad thing from happening to you, but you sure can look at the bad things and turn most of them to good.

luck does mater. but even hard work can change your life. God is one supreme power and He controls everything. all kinds of fortunes and misfortnes come from Him and when ever any calamity strikes, it is only befitting to wait patiently. take it as a test. if you are destined to get ( or lose) something u will get get (or lose )it, come what may.

do you believe in Karma? well, i do... and i feel that whatever karma we have from past lives makes things easy, difficult, good or bad or us in this life time... people who 'seem' lucky might have done some really good things in their past lives... but you should ask them, i am sure they don't feel that lucky...
