i want to is there any treatment for IBS.

No cure. There are tons of herbal remedies and medications though. Try Zelnorm

there are lots of different drugs is being used for IBS treatment. But the ultimate goal is to learn how to live with IBS and have less problem. so life style and eating habits are very important.

I am not a doctor but I seem to remember hearing from somebody I know that IBS can be at least greatly improved by taking junk food out of your diet and eating mostly raw and natural food. See site below.

I have it and don't think there is a cure.....it is just managed.

How I do it.....drink lots of water. Eat an apple a day. Cut back on refined foods. Watch out for things too spicy. Don't overeat.
Manage your stress. Make sure you don't get constipated. Take stool softners if needed. Choose a positive outlook in life.

There are no guarantees but your best bet is to eliminate stress. If you can do that, you can probably lick IBS. A healthy a very regular diet will also help.

Check out www.MakersDiet.com Rubin has a book that is very informative- I cut out soda - esp the dark ones and chocolate and it has done wonders too- also decrease stress- take care- D

correct diet and meds, talk to your doctor about it. he/she will have a regime for you to follow.
