It's never the answer. It is illegal and should be. People commit suicide because of love problems, money problems, mental illness, depression, etc. They feel overwhelmed, and can't make a rational deciscion about such things. Sometimes drugs can have side effects that cause people to have suicidal thoughts. If suicide were legal it would let the manufacturers off the hook. Murderers could get away with it if they made their victim's death appeared to be suicide (if it were legal, why bother to investigate?)

Anyone who is suicidal should sek help.

Depends on the religious views of those involved. For some suicide is never acceptable even to save the life of a child.

I hope that this question is for info only, and not because you are thinking of doing it. Suicide is never morally acceptable.

It relies upon...i position self belief in mercy suicide...that being that someone has an incurable, debilitating, persistent, or otherwise not achieveable difficulty and has theory by the technique of desirous to die thoroughy and is of their correct concepts even as making the alternative (imagine maximum cancers sufferers and prolonging their existence in basic terms to have them die slowly and painfully and weak). yet contained in the experience of suicide from prompt displeasure or a feeling that this is the in basic terms way out...it fairly is morally acceptable (what are you going to do about it besides?!) yet i trust that those the human beings we are fairly not achieving and meaning there's a significantly better difficulty with our society.

It's morally acceptable when it's done for non-selfish reasons. You have to be careful about this, though, because it's possible to be selfish by making a show of a great sacrifice.

My friend committed suicide 5 years ago. I loved her and I'm still mad at her because she had so much to offer to the world. I feel she had no right to do away with herself. We were just friends but we depended on each other. I wish she would have came to me. Maybe I could have prevented it. I think It's a cowards way out.

Technically, suicide is never morally acceptable as biblically it is not your life to take as we are all creatures of Gods creation.

It is taking the easy way out of anything and not facing up to your problems/fears.

I agree with Mira. would also like to add that if you are a horrid person, say a pedophile or a murderer and you know you are never going to stop committing those crimes, it would be far better for you to off yourself than continue to harm others.

when your standing on a 40 story building and 39 floors are on fire. You are on the roof and no one will be able to get to you. I figure I'd rather kill myself by jumping than burn to death
