Just curious if hand to hand combat is taught in the Navy Boot Camp? I know all the other branches of the military teach some sort of hand to hand combat.

no. the navy teaches you hot to surive a fire or explosion on a ship. the hand to hand combat is teached to the navy SEALS, and other combat related units.

I found a book from WW2 for Navy flyers that was hand to hand combat. It had some really great moves, like when somebody grabbed you from behind you could bend down, pull up on there leg and then sit down on it a break it. It had pictures showing every move with a guy and his attacker.

Only if u choose to be in the Special Operations like Seals. And also if u choose to be a Seabee, those guys are out there with Marines getting shot at.

yea the basic training in the navy teaches hand to hand as when as close quater tactics because if the enemy is on your ship than blowing holes in all the walls would be stupid and if you run out of rounds you still need to know how to fight

No they dont...but trainee frogmen learn 'flipper to flipper' combat!
