Ear infection or a foreign object >VET>NOW

Its not typical for a dog to have ear mites (mostly that is a cat thing). I agree with everyone else. Sound like a yeast infection of the ear which will require medicated drops that you will fill the ear canal with daily. You need to take you dog back to the vet, or find another one that can diagnose him correctly.

One of two things is going on. Either your dog has a bacterial infection in the ear or a yeast infection in the ear (yes, it happens). Either way, your dog seriously needs medication but it'll be impossible to tell exactly what type of medication your dog needs until you take it to the vet. If you can't afford a routine vet office, call a store like Petco in your area and see if the clinic is open tomorrow or call your local humane society and see if they offer low-cost vet service or if they have a tech there who can check it out.
