If you look at the constitution and all amendments privacy is never, ever mentioned. Except for a few things like the 4th, 14th securing certain rights, the rest is just privlege

I believe it is a privilege. Just as the countless other privileges that Americans have. We have it so easy that we are unaware of it. The security of our nation and loved ones takes precedence over that. I think that if you don't do anything wrong, you shouldn't have anything to hide.

A right but with a lot of limitations especially after 9/11. A lot of people forget that even regular US citizen inform on others even when noone asked for information. Mrs Krabs on Betwitched is an example how Amercians willingly spy on fellow Americans. Hank Wiliams,Jr or "Bocephus" has a song that explains it all "What you don't know Won't Hurt You"
