We are just finishing winter/Spring here and it was difficult, but something that helped a lot was to make sure I did easy walking exercise regardless of how I felt because it made me feel better in the long run.

Yes, I have found that it is actually the CHANGE of the weather that affects it the most.

Thus when I went on vacation to a luxurious beach spa resort I was in TOTAL agony and couldn't figure out why!

I did some research on FMS, it's because I went from 30 degree to 85 degree weather!! The change of temps triggers a terrible bout of symptoms.

Good Luck!

i have fibromyalgia and i used to think the weather changing affected the way i feel but i started charting the barometer pressure every day and when i am in cronic pain and my symptoms flare up i found it was due to the pressure dropping and once its going up my symptoms got better so i would say no the winter weather usually stabilizes over the months without the pressure going up and down like a yoyo in the summer months

Not necessarily! I realy didn't feel that good this summer. I think the humidity affects it more than the cold.

yes, the change of summer was pretty rough, too. I spent an entire week in bed so weak I could not get up.
