Generally tea is not bad for you, and it comes with the many benefits others have mentioned. It has a few similar negative factors (if you consider it as negative) similar to coffee in that it is slightly acidic and contains caffiene, and can upset your stomach if you drink it with an empty stomach. I've been drinking a cup of green tea or two every morning with or without breakfast since i was about 16 and I feel fine.

It shouldnt be the only thing you drink and mayne not a strong concoction of it. You know tea has caffeine in it and while it has some otheres health benefits with tea, you may feel tired after the caffeine wears off. You should eat a healthy breakfast as it would provide energy further into your day.
Tea is good for you but that is not to say to ignore other foods. Its like saying Drinking milk keeps your bones strong so drink a lot of milk.

That's interesting that you ask that - because i just started noticing that when i have a cup of tea (usually Earl Grey - caffeine) in the morning on an empty stomach - I feel sick (nauseous) immediately afterwards. What's that all about. I used to think tea was good for me. This never happens when i have coffee!

If you drink tea as bed tea, it may be bad. However, if you drink tea after brushing teeth etc, it has no harmful effect.It would be Still better, if you drink couple of glass of water, before you drink your first cup of tea in the morning.

No, drinking tea is supposed to be very good for you. Especially if you drink Green Tea which has many antioxidants.

No it's good for you. I love all tea but for a change once in a while, I like peach tea. Try it. I like hot tea and ice tea with sweetener and lemon.

You should first drink plain water in the morning and not tea. However, you can have tea when you take your breakfast.
