unfortunately honey is tricky and sticky. It does not really burn fat, that is a myth. Honey infact is like malt -one of the highest sugar counts you can swallow. It will put fat on which in a way is sort of a twist of nature because most natural edibles have like milktose (milk sugar) or fruitose (fruit sugar) etc and being natural sugars they do not sit in you and get to break down and get stored. Instead they pass through the body fast with little storeage time. Sadly altho sugar is a natural sweetner, it is high in sugar and calories. We won't even discuss that you don't ear at night because that is before your body hybernates and stores all the fat in your tummy because you are not working and burning it off so honey at night would be a double whammy. If you have someone who has done something unfair to you I guess you could tell them they are putting some pounds on and to gobble down honey and malt whenever they get the chance. That not serious last sentence aside tho, there is something that is very not a wives tale-honey is a natural antibiotic so it can be very good for you. Enjoy it if you wish, but don't try to lose weight with it. Sleep tight, don't let the bees bite.

No it won't help fat burning and weight loss at all.

Honey is pure sugar - therefore it is very high in calories. Just like any type of food, if you eat before bed it will add fat to your body because you will instantly store that energy as fat.

I've never heard of this before - but it sounds like a real daft idea. Even weight loss specialists suggest that you don't eat too much honey in your diet as it is so sugary. Let alone straight before bed - that is a big no-no.

No, taking honey before bed will not help with fat burning nor weight lost. It will probably make you put on more weight as honey is sugar and contains a lot of calories. When you sleep your metabolism slow down and burn less calories.

NO it actually does the OPPOSITE as the carbs( sugar) will release insulin that STOPS completely ANY fat burning AND inhibits growth hormone which is at its highest between 11.30pm - 2.30am every night ,GH burns fat + creates muscle so by halting this natural process - fat will be deposited instead... a CARB ONLY meal ALWAYS does this BUT a combined meal of complex carbs, protein and a simple sugar POST WORKOUT will induce muscle growth
